BioThis is my student teaching journal that I am writing for one of my education classes. Here are a couple things you should know to better understand it:
Florin = Florin High School, my long term teaching placement.
Long-Term Teaching Placement = the high school I will observe for 6 weeks in aug/sept and then teach for two periods of the day starting in January (second semester)
Short-Term Teaching Placement = the middle school where I will teach one period from oct-dec (fall quarter). As of yet i dont know where my short term placement will be.
Savreet = My campus partner, i.e. the other person in the same program Im in thats working at Florin.
The cohort = The Davis credential program is made up of 5 different cohorts, English, Math, Social Studies, Science and Agriculture. I am obviously in the English one, which also happens to be the biggest at 20 people. When I refer to "my cohort" or just "the cohort" I'm talking about the small gorup of people who are also obtaining their single-subject English credential.
